what an awesome wednesday!!!
my brother started treatment last friday, and is doing well:)
my mom is visiting, we hung out some (so happy to see her!), she is learning to truly let go.
cleaned out the garage.
vaccuumed, mopped the kitchen floor, got laundry done.
had lunch with miss emi.
celebrated a fellow kinder’s birthday.

it was a gorgeous day for a pool party.
after swimming, the kids played basketball, dance dance revolution, foosball, air hockey, games, and had their faces painted. miss emi NEVER has liked to have this done, and during the youth center games times, i look over and see her in line. think to myself, wonder if she knows what she is in line for. casually ask her, *what did she choose for her face?* she replies with a coy smile, *a butterfly mommy*. inside, i am so excited for her and wanted to make a big deal, but i know she so doesn’t like to be the center of attention, so i played it down. i think it is perfect she chose a butterfly, as she truly has blossomed this year!!!

we came home, got the girls settled with dinner, dh gave the baby her bath, and then we had a date night out! strolled SR, had dinner at the left bank (YUM!), and then headed to check out storage systems. we tried to go to see a movie, but then it was too late. came home. kissed the girls. watched IDOL.
