My Little Shoebox - vol. 1   June 26, 2008

i truly love these products! helen is an amazing woman, with a beautiful story to share. if you haven’t already, please go here to read all about it.

here’s what i created with her tulip and pansy lines. tfl!

Scan 2-1 this is my FAVE. after re-reading helen’s story, talking about all the beautiful things she was surrounded by growing up, it lead me to finally open up a box of sewing things my grandma had left for me. she not only was an amazing woman, but also used to sew like i scrap! hee hee, cause those who know me, know i cannot sew, but i try my best to scrap my heart out! the only thing not MLS in this layout, is a piece of white eyelet fabric from my grandma’s box.
Scan-3-2 journaling reads: educator for my girls. recorder of our memories. insider of secrets. negotiator for balancing our time.
Card-1 Card-2-2 and here are some fun cards.
tfl:) and thanks again, helen and suzy for this wonderful opportunity!

Loved our chat last night! Thanks for that! I love your layout with your grandmothers lace on it. What a beautiful treasure. So happy that your grandmother’s crafty stuff is finding it’s way into your crafty stuff. Just beautiful!
