this is what happens when you have a dear sweet friend in your life, and she doesn’t come with you on your family vaca [insert sarcasm] and goes to CHA instead! LOL.

the baby and daddy woke around 8am (5am maui time).
mommy and the big sister woke around 10:30am (7:30am maui time). how, i miss maui already!!!

my sweet friend, krista, introduced me to scrapvillage, she is a village planner there.
one of my layouts was chosen on their front page news section, as a featured designer.

and i heard that suzy and helen are having an awesome time at CHA, check out some of the latest creations…here!
SHE thew down tonight at PMP over suzy and i hugging.
SHE hair flipped me since i didn’t say hi to her first.
SHE shunned me with her longer than long eyelash batting frenzy.
SHE *wasn’t having any of this* [speaking of love from the other girls].
BUT,
because, SHE is just my sweet friend, that somehow i left out of my random happy thoughts post a few days back.
you know i LOVE you girl!
and after unpacking from my bil’s wedding, doing endless loads of laundry, and then repacking, we’re off tomorrow!
happy weekend all!
1. all the [little- and i say this in quotes, cause u know those are the ones that matter most] things that my dh does for me, and our girls. the readjusting his schedule so he leaves the house super early to get his workouts in, so he can spell me and we can have family time before the dinner/baths rush towards the evening. the [tips] he gives me to help my stress. LOL.
2. the fact that SHE finally updated her blog.
3. super cold iced tea on hot summer days like we’re enduring.
4. miss emi helping to show mari how to drink her miso soup with a big girl spoon during dinner, and the nonstop giggles that followed.
5. NOT cleaning and getting dinner started the moment my dh walks into the door. playing with the girls FIRST instead.
6. extra hugs.
7. my bro making his 60 day mark.
8. HER heart and HER spirit.
9. HAMBLY’s new blue.
10. the baby crawling her way into one of the suitcases tonight, as we’re unpacking and repacking. photo to arrive soon…

Ten Years Ago:
July, 1998. I’d been married for 1 1/2 years. we were living in our first purchase- a 2 bdrm townhome in cupertino. we both were working like corporate dogs. we were planning my sil’s wedding the following month. and planning our first trip to japan, the following fall. we went to many sports events, and had dinner out almost 3 times a week. and monthly trips to the spa, together.
Five things on today’s to-do list:
1. mommy and me class with mari at the little gym:)
2. took emi to swim lessons. she did GREAT with her new teacher!
3. get the laundry sorted and put away, so we can get ready for our next trip.
4. pack stuff for the crop at PMP tonight.
5. give extra hugs to emi after spanish camp, she is doing great this summer!
Snack I Enjoy:
M&Ms on top of freshly popped popcorn. YUM.
Things I would do if I was a millionaire:
1. have our yard professionally landscaped, and rent it out.
2. buy a home nearby, gut it, and design it for ourselves. the girls would have their own bathrooms.
3. make sure my brother is comfortable, pay off his house.
4. go back to japan.
5. buy a new minivan with all the bells and whistles.
