BEST news of the week [ so far !!!]   June 10, 2009

nanice just got the *golden ticket* she is now officially joining rocio, kristin, nicole, shelly, and me at CE baby!!!

mid – week recap!   

sunday: church + daisies. all else is a blur!
monday: both girls in school. mom came down to pick up mari and play with her, while i enjoyed chaperoning 32 first graders at their end of year party! it was filled with bounce houses, batting cages, soccer time, pizza, snacks, and drinks. and they had a ball!
after dinner + baths, got my workout on! did a body sculpt + kickboxing class. back to back. slept like a baby that night!
tuesday: regular school day for emi. mari at home with me, nicole and avery over for playtime! got a bunch of house stuff done, high fived myself there, while mari inhaled 1/2 a canteloupe in 1 1/2 hours. that girl is going through a growth spurt! mari decided her 10 minute cat nap was enough for her, so it was bubbles, playdough, drawing, and sticker fun til we picked up big sisser. daddy took the girls outside to get their wiggles out while i fixed dinner and finished laundry. after baths and making lunches for the next day, i crashed with mari, got up and put myself to bed! yippee for good solid sleep!
wednesday: both girls in school. emi had 1/2 day. after i worked out, i ran some errands, picked up the girls, we had lunch, and then mari crashed for a real nap today! emi and i have been watching movies…
i’ve got brownie stuff to help organize, materials to buy for next year, room mom notes to get organized, and start arranging paperwork for next year, a class to prep for, MLS assignments to be tackled…and i’m LOVING it all! somehow, we did find a balance for now, and while i’ve taken on a bit more, my family doesn’t suffer, we all have our own time, and we just are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends.
