where did i leave off from?
the rest of our week:
thursday: 1/2 day for emi, ran errands with nicole, avery and mari:) swim lessons. hit the gym after dinner. it was an awesome zumba class! and watched SYTYCD, it is a really really good season so far! it was sad to see them go, but they didn’t do that well, in comparison.
friday: dh had the day off. he did drop off and pick up with mari. and did some house stuff + golf in between. i ran some errands, in between drop off and pick up with emi, who now is officially a 2nd grader! after mass, we hit a local park with friends…and had a ball. she found a new fave ride! and that evening, i got my scrap on! after my gg assignments, cards for the swap, and a secret assignment that will be revealed later on, i wasn’t really inspired to scrap again, until i had these photos! finished 2 layouts for MLS at the crop: [and i'm so in love with the turtles n trees line!]
this one just cracks me up, since it captures mari and her silly knock knock joke phase, it is so stinkin cute!!!
love this family photo:) thanks nicole!
saturday- since the weather was too cool to really enjoy the zoo, we opted for playing with almost every art supply we own. the girls had a ball:) after a yummy lunch out at our fave spot, mari decided not to nap, guess she needed to get her wiggles out! at least the sun came out later that afternoon, we we took a nice long walk around our neighborhood:)
last night, my dh took over after bathtime, and i created these:
omgosh, this has to be my FAVE lo this year so far! it all just came together, and i had been wanting to document her first preekool experience as she will say, so more to come later on that. i’m loving my new martha stewart butterfly punches:)

and last but certainly not least for my MLS assignments, i created a little name tag for mari’s backpack. she already has one, but i had to use this adorable maya road apple chipboard book for her:)
suzy hooked us up with core’dinations cardstock this month, so here’s what i’ve got so far:
this first layout, i paired with scraps from the owl line. i took one piece from the chocolate box collection, and after matting the photos down, sanded the edges and across the cardstock. it has this beautiful teal color showing underneath it. my fave piece from that collection!
on this next layout, i chose 3 different cardstocks from coredinations, cut them into 2×2 squares, and sanded the fronts and sides. i paired it up with the wonderful line from MLS, and thought it was perfect for this photo. i freehanded a heart, added some transparencies, and played with each type of letter MLS offers right now:) this is my second fave…
i’ve got some more projects in the making…and maybe tonight i’ll get to finish them up! my parents will be coming down to help out with planting and our yard overall!
hope you’re having a great weekend!
xoxo + blessings,
erin
p.s. just saw the official CE supply list, so better go check that out, and see if there is anything i have to *have* LOL.
