hope you’re all having a great start to your weekend:)
i sure did!
thursday, after swimming + dinner, i got to go to a really fun girls night out here! my friend had told us about it, but since i didn’t sign up that day, i wound up on the waiting list. she sent me a reminder that afternoon, so i called, and i got the last spot, because the manager had written someone down twice, so they did have an extra spot! they’re all so nice there, and we made 9-10 projects at 3 different stations! they served us yummy snacks and drinks, and gave us a discount, so of course we took advantage! one of the things i bought were envelope and liner templates, and miss emi will be so excited to play with them! she headed to my parents’ that evening with my mom, and daddy took over for me. thank you, dh!
friday morning, i woke to a vmail from a very dear friend…who came to join me at the gym and we got our workout on! now that she is a member, it will be nice to have a consistent workout buddy, though, i surprised myself and was pretty diligent about going 3 times a week, until i got sick a few weeks back. it was a GREAT class, and was a little sore afterwards. after picking up mari from preschool, we just enjoyed time for the two of us. she did miss her sissssssser alot, though. after lunch, she got over it, and we danced, played playdoh, drew, and danced some more! she did take a nap, so that was a nice break for mommy:) got my stuff packed up…and got my scrap on! so nice to see old friends, and meet some new ones:) watch out for an upcoming photographer…here! we’re so excited for CE, oh, that will be an experience! i was quite productive last night, and will share when i can:)
daddy has a meeting at church this morning, so miss mari and i may hit the pool, it is already that warm here today!
