hello and happy sunday!
hope you all had a fabulous weekend:)
aside from the laundry, cleaning, and regular house stuff, we had a full and fun weekend:)
daddy had to go out of town for a church seminar.
while daddy was away, we:

painted, danced, celebrated our birthdays all over again, and danced some more!

we also:

baked some raspberry pretzel hugs, oh yum!

we took photographs of mommy’s rocio rockets’ challenge this month:

for january, we needed to:
add paint, felt [does velvet count?], bling, and glimmer.
3 out of 4 isn’t bad right? LOL

and for the cards, we made some thank yous:

and then used them right away for our xmas thank yous!

and last but not least, this is a layout that i did for a becky fleck sketch:

this is featuring basic grey’s sugar rush collection…yum!

we also:
enjoyed a girl night out with the brownies, at their songfest event!
had a fun visit from grandparents
created a beautiful class by debby schuh
soaked in all my girltime during class and over a delish dinner + dessert!
caught up and relaxed with hubby
back to church as a family of four
took a fabulous cardio sculpt class
toured another preschool- top choice for all so far!
had a pretty uneventful dinner out, yippee!

and off to create cards or clean my scrap stuff…

home sweet home…CHA hangover style!   January 28, 2010

ok wow! what a fun trip!
[but i cried after dropping miss m off. cried while dropping miss e off. so thankful for supportive parents at her school. totally helping out with the auction basket delivery in the rain! and wanted to come home tuesday night...]
but FUN we did have!!!
highlights:
seeing our MLS team altogether, missing old friends, and meeting new ones!
-i got skills
-who fell asleep while talking mid sentence?
-are ya’ll ready for all this?
-peace out HOMIES!
-lovin how it takes us 9 girls 6 hours to set up our 10×20, yet American Crafts hired crew took just under two hours to set up theirs that was oh, quadrupuled our size.
-yet so impressed at how adorable our booth was!
-drooling over tattered angels, and playing with glam, mists, and glaze galore!
-dinners with yummo food and yummo ladies and gentlemen!
-fun photo ops [photos to come, they are somewhere in my phone]
-cool make n takes
-laughing
-laughing
-and more laughing

since i’m still sleep deprived and nursing a potential toe infection, i will leave you with this, i stole from erin payne’s blog…

to bring you highlights from our month so far:

new art classes for both girls:) miss e starts later this week. miss m and i had a ball this morning! we painted our hearts out using lots of different textures, we sculpted faces, hair, and animals out of clay, we created gingerbread men and women, and we made a very special friend a gift. they are all still drying and will be home next week. after we cleaned up, we danced silly songs, and made new friends. can’t wait to see what miss e creates in her class!

lovin the gym…been enjoying the variety and quality of the teachers our gym offers. my fave right now is mr jimmy’s body sculpt and miss rachel’s cardio sculpt. lovin step again too, and miss susan’s body sculpt and zumba baby! been going 4-5 days a week…yes, i will be bringing my gear on down to cha with me!

watching my e girl dance! she literally shines in her class, and is so very happy doing so!

bible study at church. has been really really really good. one of my fave classes conflicts with that time. so, i will trade off every other weekend. til i can get that jimmy workout in somewhere else, just as effective.

that daddy finally asked where we can put up our chalkboard, and now have weekly bible study lessons at home right in front of us, v. the impromptu when we remember to do them.

lovin our movie dates…some with just hubby, some with just miss e, and some for the whole family:) thank goodness for the entertainment book coupons! my faves the past few months:

-princess and the frog
-blind side
-the book of eli

my girltime. getting together and creating alongside these girls makes me just giddy! sometimes i am productive…other times i’m not. thanks hubby for letting me have my girltime, esp the all day crops!

lastly, getting to play with…MLS‘ brand new lines coming out for winter CHA!

well, yesterday it was!
miss pattie, miss m, and i visited helen at her warehouse! it was a first time for me, and simply the smell of all fun fresh new products still has me on a high today!

yes, all SIX new lines are here, just in time to create for winter CHA!
as soon as i find out our booth number, i’ll share that, too!

not sure if you can tell just how excited we were…

miss m had fun with helen at her desk, computer, and drawing! pattie’sMLS favorite is imaginary friends! can you tell, look at the sheer joy on her sweet face!

and miss m’s favorite new toy [thank you pattie] even got to join the party!
