Gifts.

They come in all shapes and sizes.

They arrive most unexpectedly.

They can be good or bad.

I’m in the stage of appreciating both good and bad.

We have received many gifts from God.

And the ones He needed to take away from us early, I’m finally learning to fully let go.

All of our babies who are dancing around up in heavan, I know He needed them for reasons that I no longer need explanations for.

Gifts.

That’s what they truly are.

When a girlfriend [who has her hands full already] offers to take miss E for the day, while miss M is at preschool. And allows me to breathe. To pray. To take care of me. And to pray some more. That is a huge gift that I will remember forever.

When a mom’s night out with school friends can be just that. A night of laughs, at us and at our blessed children. And ok to just laugh.

When a church member brings our girls beautiful hair ribbons, just because.

When a fellow Mom takes miss E for an afternoon to spell my Mom, because I’m out of town for some girltime.

For a husband who is constantly trying to make sure he has a backup plan, another backup plan, and recognizes me being at home is WORK. And doesn’t ask for anything more, than for me to enjoy being with our girls.

To have this hobby called scrapbooking that allows me to have such a fun place to go…and an amazing creative outlet all in one!

For my brother, and his time of healing, and opening up, and being real. Love you! Very proud of you.

That’s it for now.

Go hug and love on all the gifts in your life, good and bad!
