now that the flu bug has finally gone away, we’ve been able to enjoy our summer!
we’ve been swimming.
going to the park.
having playdates.
going to summer school.
enjoying summer camps.
loving on family and friends.
and i’ve finally been able to scrap!

i got to play with the line called Sky’s the limit. other than core’dinations cardstock, and the gems, ribbons, flowers, and pearls from maya road, all else is MLS.

daddy is ushering at church this month. that means we need to be there even earlier than the early service. next week, we’ll do better:)
mari sat through the entire service, with me, surprise! love those kind of surprises.
emi helped daddy in the back. at one point, mari wanted to see daddy, so we all ended up in the back together. it was a beautiful service.
during sunday school, i helped out the kid’s with the lesson plan and them making a fruit salad to contribute to the bbq after second service. emi and her friend did the majority of the work, the boys were just being boys most of the time.
after bible study and sunday school, we headed home after running a few errands.
and after getting a good lunch in, we had important business to take care of, and that was our daisies bridging into brownies! my co-leader came up with an adorable skit to have the girls be *baked into a new batch of brownies*- it was adorable! emi helped me make measuring cups with things like 1/2 c. helpfulness and 1 c. honesty, etc…mixed altogether and viola! our brownies were born! we were very thankful to have our brownie leader there, who really helped my co-leader and i start our very first daisy troop two years ago! all of the girls have grown and contributed so much to our troop, we couldn’t have been prouder! after the skit, bridging ceremony, gift giving and snack time, the girls had a ball at the park!
