Paper and Co Show sneaks… August 23, 2010

Almost here… August 22, 2010
we have had a very full and blessed summer,
and have been enjoying the time getting scrappy when miss M is napping.
we dove into our stash, using past collections of My Little Shoebox,
some Fiskars punches, Paper Source ribbon, and those adorable mini alphas from MLS.
and voila:
our current and new teachers have their very own,
first week back to school survival kits!
and miss E is so very excited to be a 3rd grader!!!

tons of swimming. check.
summer school review- fun. check.
art camp. check.
finished summer homework. check.
made sure all pieces of uniform fit. check.
new shoes. check.
new socks. check.
abandon the jumper she has worn since kinder, cuz 3rd graders don’t want to wear them anymore. check. [though mommy is so not ready!]
special lunch and shopping date with mommy today, the last friday before school starts. check.

Getting ready…
for 2 teaching events…
the first is local, at Scrapbook Island:

day 2…
little miss m has been feeling under the weather,
so unfortunately today is day 2 of just being here at home…
trying to keep up with her not feeling well.
laundry going for the 3rd time since 8am.
trying to keep liquids in her.
miss e is being a trooper and is doing alot of reading, has finished up her homework for 3rd grade, and is drawing her heart out for her sister, in hopes that her colorful artwork will help her feel better.
thank you for all of your support for our family:)
this past weekend was very bittersweet and sad,
but we know in our hearts it is going to be ok.
